Like amateur armorialists everywhere, I am incredibly appreciative of the institutions and publishers who have digitized period documents including rolls of arms and heraldic treatises. But sometimes the scanned images they produce are locked away behind a web interface with an awkward user interface, and no straightforward option to download the material for offline access.
Through a mix of technical effort and sheer drudgery, I’ve managed to extract a number of these public-domain resources from their proprietary hosting services and transferred them to the Internet Archive where you can browse them online or download them as desired.
